Adjectives are words that describes nouns. They tell about someone or something in detail. Here is an example. Johnny got some red shoes.
Most of the time when you use adjectives, you use verbs too. Adjectives answer the question Which Kind? Which One? How Many? How Much? Proper adjectives describe a name so they are capetalized.
